Steps to Salvation

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.
Ephesians 2:8

When a person works an eight-hour day and receives a fair day's pay for his time, that is a wage. When a person receives recognition for his achievements, that is an award. But when a person is not capable of earning a wage and deserves no award - yet receives such a gift anyway - that is a picture of God's unmerited favor. That is called the grace of God.

God's grace can be defined as a free gift. The story of God's grace begins at the cross. It was there that Jesus willingly died for you. Because of His death, you are able to receive the free gift of salvation.

His grace does not end at salvation. He continues to shower you with His favor and loving kindness without consideration of merit. Despite your sin, He bestows blessings on you: an unexpected raise, an anonymous gift, children that love God, opportunities to pursue your dreams, etc.

God, in His grace, has willingly and generously given to you. Will you willingly give yourself to Him? Will you give Him your talents, money, time, and service?

Grace is everything for nothing to those who don't deserve anything.

Welcome to this part of the web site. Scripture references will lay out what is required to seek salvation. Say the Repenters Prayer at the end, go to the church of your choice and talk to the Minister. Explain that you read these scripture references, that you want to surrender your soul to Christ and be washed in Believers Baptism. May God be with you.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 3:10
As it is written, THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NO NOT ONE.
Romans 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 5;12

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10: 9-13

(9)That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

(10)For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

(11)For the scripture saith, WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED.

(12)For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek; for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

(13)FOR WHOSOVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.

REPENTERS PRAYER:
Lord, I confess today that I am a sinner and that if I died right now I would perish, but Lord I truly believe that you are the son of God and will forgive my sins. Lord, please forgive me of my sins and give me eternal life.
In Jesus name
Amen
